Solo is maturing nicely and is a Runner Up Best In Show, Group, Runner Up In Group and Multi Class in Group winner. He was an only puppy from our first home bred litter, very typey with that "one of a kind" mischievious character which we dearly love.

Before moving to Australia in 2008 Solo enjoyed a successful show career in the UK including winning Undergrad Dog (27 entries)at Crufts in 2006 under breed specialist Mr D Bell (Balintyne)and being joint top Special Yearling (12 to 18 months old) Irish Setter in the UK in 2006.

WELKS Ch Show Apr 2006 - Junior Dog (23 entries) 1. Martin’s, Silvagem First Edition. Has a certain something which draws you to him. Excellent head and eye with a good layback of shoulder. Kept his topline on the move which was very positive. One to watch and Yearling Dog (18 entries) 1. Martin’s, Silvagem First Edition. Headed a quality class so had to be good to win here. Richmond Ch Show Sept 2006 - Yearling Dog 1st: Martin’s Silvagem First Edition very eye catching youngster. Rakish and elegant. Masculine head with plenty of work and the most melting expression. Low set ears of lovely length. Very clean and elegant over the shoulder with super topline. Good shoulder and upperarm which complimented his rear angulation. Good ribs with great depth.
